Minimum Qualifications GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes writing informational materials such as news releases, fact sheets, brochures, and speeches; preparing and conducting audio-visual presentations; developing and/or maintaining effective communications with print and broadcast media representatives; analyzing and/or evaluating impact and effectiveness of program communication plans. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications and Media Reading Comprehension Strategic Thinking Written Communication
About the Position: Develops the public engagement program for hazardous and radioactive waste sites being addressed through the Formerly Utilized Sites Remedial Action Program and assists in conducting the Commanders public affairs program.
