Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience of club, restaurant, and/or retail operation. Basic cash handling procedure experience. Must also possess experience which provides knowledge of cash handling procedures and sales operations such as receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit and use of cash accountability control methods. Must have experience which demonstrates the ability to provide work direction to other club employees in regard to fire, safety and health regulations. Experience as a supervisor is desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Ability to provide work directions to other club employees. 2. Knowledge of fire, safety, and health regulations. 3. Able to communicate with customers and skills in dealing with the public. **NOTE: Those qualified applicants who meet both the minimum qualification requirement(s) and highly preferred criteria(s) will be considered best qualified for this position and will be referred to the selecting official(s) first for consideration. This position will be assigned to the JBSA Randolph Clubs. This is a flexible category position with no guaranteed hours, may work up to 40 hours per week. Scheduled as needed. Employees appointed to a flexible (intermittent) category position are not eligible for benefits. Requires use of both arms and legs-prolonged standing, walking, reaching, and lifting.
