Mandatory Requirements: Extensive, demonstrated knowledge and experience with planning processes, critical analysis, consensus building, as well as the application and integration of all instruments of national power in protecting the U.S. and its interests abroad. Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to lead interagency planning efforts, working groups, and initiatives to synchronize and advance UIS objectives. Demonstrated ability to anticipate issues relevant to the IC and United States Government and recommend/implement needed actions. Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and in a team or collaborative environment. Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, including the ability to think strategically, identify needs and requirements, develop recommendations, and evaluate outcomes against goals and objectives. Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to view substantive and administrative issues, exert influence to senior leadership, communicate effectively with people at all levels (both internal and external), brief management on reviews and findings, and organize and edit written reports of varying length and complexity. Extensive knowledge of IC organizations, mission postures, capabilities, and policy developments as they relate to Sub-Saharan and /or North Africa. Bachelor’s Degree Desired Requirements: Experience with managing IC programs, include tracking resources for joint programs. Demonstrated ability managing multiple priorities simultaneously.

MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
