General Experience: Possess experience, education, or training involving skills in applying problem solving techniques; and skills in communicating effectively both orally and in writing; Experience planning and organizing work. Ability to follow established methods and procedures; use practical knowledge of the operations, procedures, and policies of specific program areas or functional assignment. BUDGET OFFICER, GS-0560-12: Must have at least 12 months specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level; Experience understanding in-depth knowledge of financial principles and procedures with understanding of the principles and concepts of the National Guard financial budget business program requirements; Experience that demonstrates the abilities to lead, follow directions, read, retain, and understand a variety of instructions, regulations, policies and procedures. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies: Budget Execution Budget Formulation, Justification, and Presentation Concepts, Policies, and Principles of Budget Customer Service (Clerical/Technical)
This BUDGET OFFICER position, is located within the Financial Management Division at a base-level ANG Aviation Wing with responsibility for all budgetary operations necessary to support the plans, programs, missions, and activities of the wing and its GSUs and is part of the CA 129 RQW.
