To qualify for this GS-14 position, applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience at or equivalent to the Federal GS-13 level (or above) that is in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience must include: A. leading or coordinating teams, technical projects, or workloads involving advanced statistics or machine learning (artificial intelligence); B. developing, refining, or managing studies involving large datasets and statistical or machine learning analytical techniques and processes; C. transforming unprocessed, incomplete, or unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis using R, Python, SAS, or SQL OR D. preparing research reports, technical papers, guidelines, or instructions for technical and non-technical audiences.

The supervisor will manage a team responsible for technical data analysis, research, and production-level analytics. The supervisor will apply analytical techniques and experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, and geospatial analysis when managing the team.
