You are eligible for this training opportunity if you are currently a permanent GS-0802-12, Engineering Technician in Code 2300 and meet the education requirements described below. Upon successful completion of this training opportunity, you will be eligible to compete for Nuclear Engineer, GS-0840-12, positions. This is a training opportunity in the Nuclear Engineering and Planning Department (NEPD) PSNS and IMF to gain the competencies necessary to perform Nuclear Engineering duties. If selected, you will be placed on a Detail NTE 1 Year. Eligibility for this training opportunity is limited to current GS-0802-12, Engineering Technicians in Code 2300. Please Note: There will be no change in your salary during the timeframe of this training opportunity.
