INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER/ARCHITECT (CONST MGR)

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE), if applying for the Professional Engineering series, or as a Registered Architect (RA), if applying for Professional Architect series. Your registration must be in the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, or any State in the U.S. NOTE: You must include a copy of your license with your application, or you will be rated ineligible. In addition to the basic education requirements, applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying principles, concepts, and theories of advanced engineering/architectural methods and techniques (e.g., civil, mechanical, electrical, architecture) to serve as lead/project manager in the full range of construction projects; 2) Serving as lead engineer/architect in the full range of construction projects that involve various types of construction contracts, project delivery methods, and regulations governing contract administration; and 3) Providing expert construction engineering and management advisory services to activities and tenants served by an Organization.
