SUPERVISORY FUELS SPECIALIST (SYSTEM MAINTENANCE)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the duties of a Fuels Specialist (System Maintenance). Specialized experience should demonstrate most or all of the following: 1)Directs all facets of a comprehensive maintenance and repair program for bulk fuel facilities to include tanks, pumping stations, geographically distinct tank farms, fuel truck loading terminals, fuel pier with waterfront fuel distribution system, valve chambers/stations with 21 miles of pipeline, emergency generators; and fuel barges; 2)Understands regulatory requirements including spill response; 3)Utilizes automated databases that include Enterprise Business System (EBS), Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP), Fuel Asset Maintenance Management System (FAMMS) among other systems as required; and 4) Plans, assigns, and evaluates work performed by subordinates, including setting and adjusting priorities and considering the difficulty and capabilities of each employee; gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
