Specialized Experience Required: To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, your resume must include relevant experience with beginning and ending dates of employment/experience reflecting at least 1 year experience, education or training equivalent to at least next lower grade level (GS-11) in program or managerial experience in a type of work or a combination of functions directly related to the position to be filled or in comparable work or functions. Experience developing and recommending policy; organizing and carrying out specific programs, evaluating and recommending changes in methods of operations. Experience in supervisory, staff or technical work which included study, analysis or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of managerial or administrative policies, practices and procedures. Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel.
This position is located in the 136 AW in Fort Worth, TX. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Force Support Squadron (FSS) Director and to exercise first and second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the FSS, manage the activities of the FSS, Commander Support Staff (CSS) and oversee the planning, direction, and timely execution of high visibility and high impact FSS programs. Texas is one of 9 states with NO state income tax.
