In addition to the Basic Education Requirement (in the Education section below), to qualify for this position you must meet the requirements below and have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Developing and communicating policy and technical interpretations for an aerospace engineering program; Creating white papers, presentations, and reports for programmatic leadership; and Fostering relationships between government and stakeholders while ensuring program integration between NASA organizations and projects. As the Human Landing System (HLS) Program representative at the SpaceX Starbase facility, you will be responsible for providing vital on-site support and monitor technical implementation for the HLS program related to the Starship development, production, and test activities. You will be a critical interface and provide regular updates on challenges and technical assessments in areas of high visibility, and issues that may affect program risk or impact the launch schedule.
