GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing advanced aspects of law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security functions at military installations requiring use and deployment of specialized or advanced techniques, equipment, knowledge or training. Experience documenting law enforcement and security events and issuing citations. Experience conducting internal and/or external investigations, inquiries or audits related to security matters where neglect, action, or inaction could cause an adverse effect on the installation’s security; AND Experience with interviewing techniques, taking statements from victims, suspects, and witnesses in compliance within applicable laws. GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience performing aspects of law enforcement, antiterrorism, and physical security functions at military installations requiring use and deployment of specialized techniques, equipment, knowledge or training; Experience documenting law enforcement and security events and issuing citations; AND Experience conducting internal and/or external investigations, inquiries or audits related to security matters where neglect, action, or inaction could cause an adverse effect on the installation’s security. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Completion of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) Uniformed Police Training Program is a condition of continued employment. Employee will be required to sign a continuing service agreement prior to travel to the academy.”Agreement to Continue in Service – CSA, Agency requires 36 months of continued employment after the completion of required training from the FLETC in accordance with Title 5 USC 4108 and 5 CFR410.309. You will serve as a Police Officer in the Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) Installations of NAVBASE SAN DIEGO SEC DET. GS-6: $51,738 – $67,262 per annum GS-7: $57,493 – $74,743 per annum
