About the Position: The Joint Munitions Command provides the Joint Force with ready, reliable, lethal munitions at the speed of war. JMC’s mission is to support the production, storage, distribution, and demilitarization of munitions. This position serves as Non-Destructive Tester Supervisor located at the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, which is a subordinate installation of JMC. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Non-Destructive Tester Supervisor without more than normal supervision. The ability to perform common leading or supervising subordinates in the production and inspection of explosives, and inert materials, radiographic and other non-destructive testing methods, and the intricate measurement method used to inspect various metal parts and tooling produced. – Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprint reading) Ability To Lead or Supervise Ability to plan and organize work Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
