If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected. To qualify for the GS-09, you must have at least one year of Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 level in the Federal service is experience applying a basic knowledge of performing a combination of short term planning, development and implementation of lease administration enforcement programs; and performing duties necessary to interpret and enforce lease contracts. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include assisting in managing and evaluating building operations and/or building management programs to achieve customer consent; and/or recommending strategies to optimize building performance. OR master’s or equivalent level degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or JD. OR a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position. To qualify for the GS-11, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level or higher in the Federal service is experience performing a combination of short term planning, development and implementation of lease administration enforcement programs; and performing duties necessary to interpret and enforce lease contracts. Examples of qualifying specialized experience include: managing and evaluating building operations and/or building management programs to achieve customer consent; developing and implementing strategies to optimize building performance and support investment decisions; and assessing contractor performance to ensure building services provided meet contract specifications as well as business and workplace needs, OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or have successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related OR a combination of graduate level education and appropriate experience that together meet the qualification requirements of this position.
As a Lease Administration Specialist you will provide a combination of short term planning, development, and implementation of lease administration functions in direct support of the regional PBS program. Location of position: Public Buildings Service, Pasadena Field Office, in Pasadena, CA We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
