In addition to the educational requirements, you must meet the minimum grade-specific qualifications as described below: To qualify for the GS-15 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level defined as providing leadership, oversight or technical expertise for a technical, scientific or legal project or program; or experience researching, analyzing and managing diverse issues, or projects; or coaching, mentoring or leading others; or experience in strategic planning and establishing and monitoring performance measures to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and progress of a team or program. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. This position is in Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA), Office of Site Remediation Enforcement (OSRE), Policy and Program Evaluation Division (PPED).
