GS-07: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service, performing 2 of the following: * Taking and transmitting electronic fingerprints for employees and contractors. * Performing administrative tasks involved with the authorization and issuance of the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card. *Utilizing PIV processing systems which includes managing and administering credentialing processes for federal employees and contractors and ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. All qualification requirements must be met by 11:59 pm (Eastern Time) on 11/07/2024.
This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Administrative Services in Washington DC. The incumbent is a Security Specialist in the Office of Executive Management, Installations & Support Services (OEMISS), Office of Administrative Services, responsible of supporting the Credentialing and Badging Office operations.
