RECREATION ASSISTANT (FITNESS CENTER)

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: One year specialized experience in a fitness center. Must possess experience that provided a knowledge of a standardized body of rules, procedures and operational related to one or more indoor/outdoor recreation functions in order to perform the required activities in a fitness and sports environment. Knowledge of general office admin and clerical procedures, and automation functions to support office operations. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. Must have documented 75 hours of individual personal training and or group exercise leadership (CIAR or ACSM). Subject to work an uncommon tour of duty. May require physical dexterity and ability, heavy physical exertion (lifting up to 75 pounds).
About the position: This position will be assigned to the Fitness Center, Schriever SFB CO. This position is Regular Full Time and does include benefits Must be able to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds A valid state drivers license is required
