Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade CG/GS-12 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as assisting with the development, implementation, and evaluation of knowledge management programs, assisting with development of training strategies based upon knowledge gaps, and assisting with the development of management reports to monitor and evaluate knowledge management programs. CG-14: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the grade CG/GS-13 level in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of knowledge management programs, leading development of training strategies based upon knowledge gaps, and leading the development of management reports to monitor and evaluate knowledge management programs. Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement. This position is located in the Division of Risk Management Supervision, Operations Branch, Training and Communication section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to manage risk management supervision-related knowledge and information as a strategic asset.
