Mandatory Requirements Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, and experience writing, editing, briefing, and coordinating TPs, engagement scene setters, other documents for public release. Applicant must be able to absorb and communicate complex information clearly, concisely, and in a manner that meets the needs of senior-level audiences. Extensive ability to prioritize effectively, and manage multiple, concurrent, high-priority tasks simultaneously. Experience with planning and leading the execution of senior-level communications needs, meetings, and engagements with tight deadlines and shifting timelines. Demonstrated critical thinking and research skills. Experience with researching independently, filtering and synthesizing data, and producing clear, logical, and concise products and communication strategies. Extensive interpersonal skills. Ability to work with others across the NIC, ODNI, and the IC. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail; demonstrated ability to work effectively with ODNI’s senior leaders in a high profile and demanding office Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with a variety of audiences and convey information to a variety of audiences with different levels of comprehension of ODNI’s mission, vision and goals. Bachelors Degree. Desired Requirements: Three or more years in a communications type role, with considerable knowledge of a variety of communications strategies, techniques, and dissemination methods; analytical skills sufficient to evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts; and understanding of IC protocols related to public affairs work. Extensive understanding of ODNI policies and procedures related to public affairs.
The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Directorate for Mission Integration (MI) creates a consistent and holistic view of intelligence from collection to analysis and serves as the Director of National Intelligences (DNI) principal advisor on all aspects of intelligence. MI integrates mission capabilities, informs enterprise resource and policy decisions, and ensures the delivery of timely, objective, accurate, and relevant intelligence.
