To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level: Leading or managing diverse teams for engineering, scientific or technical projects; Providing technical oversight, implementing and executing new policies, initiatives, organizational goals and objectives for engineering, scientific or technical projects; Performing project management functions for project development, contract management, and communicating with Center and Agency stakeholders on integrating solutions in a challenging budget environment. Serves as an Office Chief, supervises and provides leadership over several diverse teams for Life Sciences Data Archival/Lifetime Surveillance of Astronaut Health, Probabilistic Risk Assessment/Medical Modeling, Exploration Medical Capability, Exploration Medical Integrated Product, and the Medical Operations Translation. Also serves as a liaison to facilitate teaming and coordination between the Human Health and Performance Directorate and the Human Research Program for Mars initiatives.
