To qualify for a GS-09, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing technical advice and assistance to all levels of MGMT officials in regards to civilian and/or military awards. Experience administering special category awards such as safety awards, service awards, etc. Experience analyzing and evaluating awards program accomplishments, deficiencies, and problem areas to recommend corrective actions. Experience researching applying new developments, upcoming and new legislation, and guidance guiding the awards program at your command. Experience utilizing delegated authority over awards policy, funding, and actions. To qualify for a GS-07, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience providing assistance in regards to civilian and/or military awards. Experience assisting with administrative duties related to awards such as safety awards, service awards, etc. Experience analyzing and evaluating documentation in service of program accomplishments, deficiencies, and problem areas to recommend corrective actions. Experience researching and applying new developments, upcoming and new legislation and guidance. You will serve as a SUPERVISORY AWARDS ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST in the STAFF AWARDS, FLAG SECRETARIAT DIVISION of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
