Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes developing original designs, concepts, and/or visual styles for publications, exhibits, and/or presentation materials; transforming spoken or written descriptions of items, processes, issues, and/or events into visual representations; providing advice on various formats, styles, media, and/or methods of reproduction for use in meeting the objectives of each project; and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure material content is aligned with desired outcomes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Communications and Media Project Management Strategic Thinking Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
About the Position: Serve as a Visual Information Specialist for the Department of Army Criminal Investigation Division (DACID), Business Operations Directorate who develops enterprise solutions to support DACID with a diverse portfolio of activities to continuously improve the quality, impact, and timeliness of DACID investigations and operations. Position located in Quanitco, VA.
