You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. This job requires a Journeyman level Plumber Certification. You must meet the screen-out element, Ability to do the Work of the Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (screen-out), normally addressed at the beginning of the online questions. To meet the screen-out element, applicants must be a certified Journeyman level Plumber able to perform plumbing tasks including checking piping, fittings, and fixtures for defective parts or connections. Applicants must be able to work under close supervision of a work leader or senior Plumber who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed. In addition, you must also obtain an average score of two (2) for the following elements for this position as addressed through the online question in order to be considered minimally qualified. This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Facilities Support Services Division. As a Plumber, you will install and maintains all gas apparatus, water, and chemical fire lines, refrigerated drinking water, standard plumbing equipment and special equipment peculiar to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.
