The Screen-out Element for this position is: ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE Planning, lay out, assembling and installing rigging. Leading personnel in accomplishing trade work. Making complex and critical judgment to rig and move objects in confined spaces with or without the aid of cranes Using complex multi-point suspension techniques to permit maneuvering and placement of loads. Installing complex machine fixture configurations on machinery and laser measuring locations. Being proficient utilizing computers (Microsoft suite, Windows Explorer, etc.). Being responsible for positioning loads in excess of 50 tons in precise locations. You will serve as a RIGGER LEADER in the Production Rigging Branch (Code 1450.2), of the Lifting and Handling Division (Code 1450), Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC), located in Philadelphia, PA, a detachment of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD.
