Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify for CG-12: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience interpreting policies and procedures to make decisions, consolidating data to produce reports and data visualizations using software (i.e., Power BI, MS Excel, MS Project), and using data to assist with implementation of program components (i.e, Scheduling classes, Resources allocation, and Participant requirements). To qualify for CG-13: Applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS/CG-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience managing a program that requires interpretation of guidance to make decisions, analyzing data to produce reports and data visualizations using software (i.e, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Project), and using data to implement program components (i.e, Scheduling classes, Resources allocation, and Participant requirements). Applicants must have met the qualification requirements (including selective placement factors – if any) for this position within 30 calendar days of the closing date of this announcement. This position is located in the Corporate University (CU), Headquarters of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of determining the annual training calendar, scheduling classrooms, and handling student enrollment and slot management for CU training and managing FDIC-sponsored enrollment in Federal Financial Institutions Examinations Council (FFIEC) training.
