Bachelors Degree in Statistics/Mathematics or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND three years of experience which includes a full range of professional statistical work and that demonstrates knowledge of and strong background in statistical analysis with proficiency in Excel, RStudio, Python,, Jupyter notebook, Power Bi, Tableau, Qlik to analyze and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of business practices to meet goals and objectives; OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above; OR appropriate experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Ability to apply statistical techniques, and methods to the gathering and/or interpretation of quantified information. Ability to analyze factual information and recognize significant factors, relationships, and trends. Skill in using spreadsheets to create and analyze data to produce charts, graphs, reports and presentations. Ability to write reports on findings. Skill to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Skill to analyze and evaluate programs and procedures to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency and to determine compliance with established policies and procedures. Must have the knowledge of and skill to represent the Marine Corps at internal and external meetings. Skill to conduct research on emerging trends in Quality-of-Life Programs. Must be able to work independently in a self-directed manner as well as within a team dynamic. As an authorized and privileged user of Department of Defense Information Systems, must possess the ability to obtain and maintain an IT Level II or higher designation clearance. This position has been designated as a position of trust. The incumbent must be eligible for an Access National Agency Check and Inquires (ANACI/ Tier 3) background investigation to satisfy IT Level II designation. Appointment and continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of the security investigation
