ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience working with Federal, California and San Diego Environmental laws, regulations, DoD/Naval instructions, and reporting requirements in order to provide accurate technical guidance. Experience with OSHE (Occupational, Safety, Health, and Environmental) program principles, concepts, practices, methods, and techniques to serve as a technical authority, and apply new developments to major OSHE (Occupational, Safety, Health, and Environmental) programs, emergency response issues, air pollution issues, water pollution issues not susceptible to resolution by standard methods. Experience identifying and/or correcting Environmental issues encountered, whether new, unusual, or routine. Experience partnering with agencies and other non-Navy activities and ability to develop and maintain high performing teams.
