To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-K, FG/GS-15. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is: Experience managing a large, complex technically oriented safety organization to develop objectives for and to align the work of subordinate technical organizations. Experience applying program/project management principles to achieve operational goals and lead strategic planning, facility planning and integrated consensus building across ATO Services Units. As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the managers individual performance, and available funding. Provides support to the Director regarding day-to-day operations, providing expert advice, technical support, and coordination for technical operations.
