You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience: To be qualified for this position at the GS-15 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as work that involves: -Using Structured Query Language (SQL), R, Python, Statistical Analysis System (SAS), or equivalent statistical analysis packages to query and analyze data from nation- or enterprise-wide data warehouses; AND -Planning and directing statisticians and data scientists who are responsible for conducting statistical analysis; Planning, implementing, and directing robust processes to ensure that data for analysis are in high quality, methods for data analysis are sound, and interpretation of findings are objective to help make informed decisions; AND -Planning, implementing, and directing overarching analytic projects and initiatives.
OIG is organized into seven operational units: the Immediate Office of the Inspector General, Office of the Counselor, Office of Audits and Evaluations, Office of Healthcare Inspections, Office of Investigations, Office of Management and Administration, and Office of Special Reviews. In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 60 locations throughout the country.
