GS-13: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as: Reviewing contract type to determine sources and methods of solicitation for competitive and sole source acquisitions and conducting complex price and cost analysis to determine reasonableness of price to make recommendations for the award. Directing a full range of procurement pre-award and post-awards functions to include drafting and issuing solicitations, negotiations, source selection, contract award, contract modifications, and contract closeout. Overseeing contracts by monitoring contract performance, preparing modifications, and determining the necessary course of action to comply with terms. Preparing new or revised instructions after monitoring current command procurement policies and contract performance. Analyzing contractor’s financial and technical approach to determine a reasonable price/cost for complex systems and impacts with changing operational or budgetary situations.
