Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience: Progressive experience demonstrating standard budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, precedents, policies and guides of the command or installation. The work requires practical experience of the functions, goals, objectives, word processes, and sources of funding of assigned budget activities. Knowledge of finances of the assigned area of the budget or assigned phase of the budget is required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to apply analytical methods and techniques to budgeting. Conditions of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required. About the position: This position will be assigned to the Accounting Office located at Barksdale AFB. This is a Regular Full-Time position including benefits (Annual Leave, Sick Leave, 401K and Retirement), with a guarantee of 35 hours, may work 40.
