SUPERVISORY ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER

This position has a selective placement factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Ensures all applicable environmental laws, regulations, policies, instructions and contract stipulations are followed; 2) Evaluates and develops environmental information requirements for specialty areas e.g. hazardous waste, air, storage tanks/spill, drinking water, wastewater, storm-water, environmental management systems, and other environmental liabilities programs; 3) Performs acquisition and contract management duties to include: develop statements of work, slate and select A/E firms, select non-A/E contractors, review proposals, and monitor contractor performance.
