DEPUTY OPERATIONS DIRECTOR

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Overseeing and directing all N3 programs to include Air Operations, Port Operations, Security, Explosive Safety, Fire and Emergency Services, Emergency Management, Operations, Training, Regional Dispatch Center (911), EOD, and Fuels; 2) Providing policy and decision briefs at the executive level, briefings to headquarters staff up to and including flag officers; 3) Completing comprehensive Region Operations and Public Safety Directorate leadership role with the region, Coordinating extensive operational programs supporting the Shore Enterprise necessary to execute shore operations; 4) Managing, implementing, and determining risk, costs, benefits of policies, regulations and procedures, technical soundness, adequacy and efficiency in administration and operations of Region Operations and Public Safety matters; 5) Acting as principal Navy Representative and directly participates in Region Operations program policy development (i.e. reviewing policy directives from higher authority and developing implementing guidance or execution); 6) Directing budget procurement, accounting and associated financial operations for 8 Region Operations & Public Safety Directorate Programs; and overseeing an operating budget of over $250 Million covering region headquarters and all subordinate installations and field locations.
