SECURITY SPECIALIST (INFORMATION OPERATIONS/OPSEC)

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Planning, Developing, coordinating and implementing Information Operations / Operations Security plans in support of training, exercises, combat, contingences and operations; 2) Identifying and analyzing Information Operations / Operations Security threats, in a variety of scenarios; 3) Analyzing force signatures and vulnerabilities, conducting a risk assessment and conveying that to the commander; and 4) identifying and planning for the application of time-critical countermeasures to mitigate Information Operations / Operations Security vulnerabilities. You will serve as a Security Specialist (Information Operations / Operations Security) in the Assistant Chef of Staff, Information Environment Division of the MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.
