You may qualify at the NH-03 if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02/GS-11 grade level in the Federal service: Applicants are required to meet 3 of 5 statements in order to be qualified. Applying logistics processes, policies, procedures, and practices necessary to develop and assess technical and economic feasibility, including cost, schedule and performance for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) major weapon system programs. Researching, planning, coordinating, and briefing logistics actions in support of leadership’s goals and vision as it applies to FMS programs. Identifying and applying the concepts, policies, and practices of logistics management as they apply to new and in-service systems during all acquisition phases of the life cycle. Developing and implementing training plans, transportation plans, and fielding activities for FMS cases. Ability to apply critical thinking and apply best logistics practices to support Foreign partners and the FMS implementing Agency. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
