Additional information about transcripts is in this document. Basic Requirement for ARCCD Recovery Care Coordinator: A. Degree: Bachelor’s degree (or higher degree) in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR B. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. OR C. Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes organizing data collected from multiple sources in collaboration with members of the interdisciplinary care team; developing and recording services provided to patients; addressing patterns or concerns at the patient, provider, and/or systems levels to promote smooth transition of patients through the health care experience. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Integrity/Honesty Interpersonal Skills Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
About the Position: The incumbent work for the Army Recovery Care and Coordination Directorate (ARCCD) in the Army Recovery Care Program (ARCP) within the Medical Command (MEDCOM). This is a comprehensive centralized coordinating office that provides services and support to the Armys most severely/seriously wounded, ill and injured Soldiers/Veterans and their Families/Caregivers. The mission is to assist and advise our wounded warriors as they adjust to their new norm.
