DUTIES: As a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY MANAGEMENT OFFICER (D2651000), GS-2003-11, you will manage all uses of logistical support within the directorate. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year at the next lower-level grade GS-11 or the equivalent THIRTY-SIX (36) months of specialized experience performing or supervising duties such as planning, directing and organizing the housing assignment, billeting, and logistical operations of a GTC; assembling and reviewing budget estimates for the DOL; determining funding requirements and directing the preparation of budget justifications; allocating resources at his/her disposal; reviewing, analyzing and interpreting supply directives and procedural instructions and plans operating procedures; directing activities concerned with salvage and protection of supply items; exercising direct supervisory and personnel management responsibilities; providing supervisory responsibility for subordinate acquisition workforce personnel; advising and providing counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management; developing, modifying, and/or interpreting performance standards; identifying employee developmental needs and provides or arranges for training; rending technical assistance and guidance to the Base Operations Manager, and higher levels of command; assisting all other directorates with requisitioning supplies and equipment; serving as the approving official for all GTC Government Purchase Card (GPC) Holders and provide management and assistance; developing plans to support continuous training center operations; ensuring the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) and other logistical contracts are prepared in accordance with regulatory guidance; developing plans to logistically support emergency operations in the event of severe weather events and natural disasters.
