You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized experience for the GS-14 is one year (52 weeks) of experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent, in the public sectors, that is directly related to the position as listed in this announcement and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as experience with: Contracting Officer Representative (COR) duties for high value, multi-year contracts; AND Managing interdisciplinary projects; AND Conducting supplier surveillance for materials contracts; AND Presenting technical findings to stakeholders. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
This position is located at Bureau of Engraving and Printing, within the Materials Technical Contract Division. As a Chemist (Principal Senior Material Program Manager- Interdisciplinary), you will provide strategic oversight and direction for the material and contract life cycles for U.S. Currency papers and inks, working in close coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with the goals and objectives of the U.S. Currency Program.
