To qualify for the position of Program Manager (International) GS-0340-13/14 you must possess the required specialized experience specific to the series and grade. If you are a current Department of Justice employee on a permanent appointment in the competitive service, to qualify for the position of Program Manager (International), your resume must reflect at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level. Specialized experience is experience that has provided you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position being filled. Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the specialized experience as noted below. Specialized Experience: GS-13: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that includes the following: Experience developing detailed plans, tasks, milestones, and schedules to track and manage processes and costs throughout the project/program life cycle; Experience evaluating funding options, developing budgets for programs with internal approvals, developing budgets, ensuring timely reimbursement; AND Experience analyzing program performance by developing methods, internal controls, and procedures. GS-14: You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that includes the following: Experience developing detailed plans, tasks, milestones, and schedules to track and manage processes and costs throughout the project/program life cycle; Experience identifying antitrust, Subject Matter Experts and contractors with knowledge and availability to participate in programs, ensuring requirements are met at a reasonable cost and within established time frames; Experience evaluating funding options, developing budgets for programs with internal approvals, developing budgets, ensuring timely reimbursement; AND Experience analyzing program performance by developing methods, internal controls, and procedures. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including Time-in-Grade, by the closing date of this announcement. You will need to demonstrate 1-year (52-weeks) at the next lower grade level, to meet the time-in-grade requirements for this occupational series and grade.
