To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level: Developing or implementing systems engineering processes requirements and/or verification development for a human spaceflight program; Leading or supporting teams in identifying and resolving complex technical challenges related to human spaceflight hardware, such as environmental control life support systems and/or thermal systems; Identifying and managing technical, cost, and schedule-related programmatic risks, including communication to management. As the Environmental and Thermal Integration Lead for the Gateway Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) Project Office, you will oversee the process of designing, developing, testing, certifying, and delivering the HALO Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS) and Thermal Systems. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and stakeholders, including government and contractor representatives, to facilitate decision-making, ensuring timely hardware delivery and certification.
