For GS-11 In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Demonstrating expertise in arranging, describing, and preserving archival records to maintain their integrity and historical significance. 2) Providing comprehensive reference services and research support to various stakeholders, including military agencies and public researchers. 3) Establishing and maintaining strong consultative relationships with fellow archivists and research professionals inside and outside of government institutions. 4) Appraising and analyzing records to determine their archival value and recommending appropriate actions based on historical and administrative criteria. 5) Accessing, processing, conserving, and preserving records routinely collected, ensuring proper documentation and archival practices are upheld. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in arranging, describing, and preserving archival records under the guidance of a supervisor to maintain their historical integrity and significance. 2) Supporting the provision of reference services and research assistance to various stakeholders, including military agencies and public researchers, as directed by a supervisor. 3) Maintaining consultative relationships with fellow archivists and research professionals, collaborating under the direction of a supervisor. 4) Participating in the appraisal and analysis of records to determine their archival value. 5) Helping with the accessing, processing, conserving, and preserving of records routinely collected, ensuring proper documentation and practices are followed as instructed by a supervisor.
