Supervisory Aviation Technical Systems Specialist

To qualify for this position you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-K or FG/GS-15 in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience will include experience in directing work of subordinate employees and/or managers or multiple organizational units/projects/programs and across multiple function and/or disciplines. This specialized experience may also have been acquired through functions such as: acquisition. deployment, and implementation of NAS programs and systems; operation and maintenance functions in field facilities: and evaluation and performance functions in field facilities, regional/service area offices, and/or headquarters. Experience with reimbursable agreements, aviation planning, operations and business plans, program manager, air traffic control operations, and aviation-related financial planning. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the managers individual performance, and available funding.
