TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST

To qualify for a GS-11, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience displaying technical knowledge of Navy doctrine, allied publications, multinational publications, and related warfighting publications used by the Navy. Experience applying practical knowledge of techniques for organizing, accessing, and disseminating information. Experience demonstrating a fundamental understanding of SharePoint, Microsoft products, and software used in providing an online library to fleet users. Experience categorizing, creating, and summarizing metadata related to Navy publications. Experience displaying familiarity with administration of the back-end features of software. You will serve as a TECHNICAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the PUBLISHING BRANCH (N53000), DOCTRINE DIVISION (N5D) of the DOCTRINE, CONCEPTS, ANALYSIS, LESSONS LEARNED, and HEALTH SERIVICES INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT (N5) of NAVY WARFARE DEVELOPMENT CENTER.
