Financial Management Analyst

Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-12: To be eligible for this position at this grade level, you must meet the following requirements. In addition to the basic requirements, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience with IRS functions, programs, policies, regulations, procedures, and operations to evaluate program plans and determine impact of changes on program goals; Experience using cross-functional programs and their interrelationship with assigned program to conduct reviews, studies/projects and coordinate systems and resource utilization of program operations; Experience using analytical and evaluative methods in order to assess and measure effectiveness of program operations, identify gaps or conflicts in program information, consolidate findings and, recommend alternatives; Experience in recognizing significant financial issues and legislative changes that impact assigned programs in order to revise procedures or recommend changes in basic implementing regulations; Experience using the principles of management planning, program and process analysis, management reporting procedures and available system capabilities to resolve operating problems, and providing statistical data or other management information reports; Experience in oral and written communications to conduct briefings, prepare reports, document findings and, disseminate procedural and regulatory information.
