You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your résumé. For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility at the GS-12 level in the Federal service or equivalent, which have equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes experience performing IT work developing, modifying, or enhancing IT products, services, or systems in order to support the needs of an organization mission, functions, and operations. Examples of such experience for the could include: – Experience leading an IT project team or a segment of a project in order to maintain quality and mitigate risk; OR – Experience facilitating and authoring schedules, minutes, and action/issue/risk logs for an entire project or a segment of a project; OR – Experience communicating IT related ideas, orally and in writing, to diverse audiences in order to assess needs and explain options. AND In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must have IT-related proficiency in each of the four competencies listed below. – Attention to Detail, such as monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work to ensure deadlines and quality have been met. – Customer Service, such as working with technical experts and customers to create systems or enhancements to existing systems and/or IT business processes. – Oral Communication, such as coordinating the preparation, presentation and communication of work-related information. – Problem Solving, such as providing advice on work methods and assisting others in identifying the parameters of a viable solution. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.

This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Project and Provider Management Division. As a Lead IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for providing specialized and technical IT services within the areas of project management and support for OITs customers.
