ASSISTANT COMMANDER FOR FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT / COMPTROLLER, NAVAL SUPPLY SYSTEMS COMMAND

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Applicants will be assessed against qualifications which fall into two areas: Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) and Mandatory Technical Qualifications (MTQs). Failure to fully and concisely describe how your experience meets the competencies described in the ECQs and MTQs will eliminate you from consideration. Demonstrated experience in the Planning, Programming, and Budgeting Systems (PPBS), including formulating budget estimates, justifying budget requests, and managing budget execution and reprogramming for appropriated funds. 2. Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in implementing and leveraging state of the art SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) financial management information systems, including resource management systems required in corporate planning, programming, budgeting, accounting, and reporting. 3. Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with government accounting theories and practices and financial management as it relates to supply management and procurement programs. 4. Knowledge of budgeting and financial management policies, practices and procedures for organizations with a multi-disciplinary global presence. You will serve as the Assistant Commander for Financial Management & Comptroller at the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Headquarters, Mechanicsburg, PA providing financial management for an Echelon II Command program.
