Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in the federal service. Specialized experience is defined as any combination of three of the following: 1) providing guidance and/or advice to senior leadership, managers, and supervisors on statutory requirements relating to an entire Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) program; 2) formulating policies designed to prohibit discrimination due to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, and disability; and 3) developing equal employment opportunity training for new hires and supervisors. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Analysis and Research Communications Partnering Program Management Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
About the Position: This position is located within the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, Equal Employment Opportunity Office. In this position you will serve as the EEO Officer responsible for oversight of the Districts Equal Employment Opportunity Program and serve as the Districts Disability Program Manager (DPM).
