Program Analyst

You must: Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service by 11/13/2024 To qualify for GS-12, candidates must also have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-11. Specialized experience is demonstrated experience, which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position. Experience must be in the normal line of progression or must be related to the work of the position advertised and must be reflected in resume. Examples of specialized experience include: Developing procedures and systems for establishing, operating, and assessing the effectiveness of internal processes and functions. Analyzing new or proposed legislation, regulations, or policies to determine impact on program operations. Providing operational, technical, and administrative support on critical projects, programs, and policies within the organization. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).
