PROGRAM ANALYST (TRAIN & EQUIP)

You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service: Developing, implementing and executing Security Cooperation policies, processes, and procedures; providing integrated solutions on Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Building Partner Capacity programs; Administering programs regarding military training and exercises; tracking USG-funded cases in support of global train and equip activities; Applying financial management, national defense strategy, legislative processes, security cooperation legal authorities, policy processes, and program management skills to daily work. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
This position is part of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. The incumbent serves as a senior consultant, providing advice and assistance over a wide spectrum of military training, exercises, and security cooperation (SC) programs conducted under Global Capability Development SC Authorities.
