What are we looking for? High school diploma or GED required. One year of experience within the health/fitness industry is preferred. Possess and maintain a basic level personal training certification from one of the following nationally accredited certifying organizations: National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), or American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Complete and pass HITT in-house training within three months of hire. Possess a current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or obtain within 6 months of hire. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of and skill to administer fitness assessments, progressive individual fitness plans and proper exercise techniques. Knowledge of established exercise principles, concepts and techniques to plan and conduct fitness testing, interpret results and develop fitness plans.
