GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience or training which demonstrates the ability to perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system operations. Experience demonstrating the ability to fit and adjust parts and assemblies SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: ???????Experience or training in dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling various artillery subassemblies. Experience which has demonstrated the ability to diagnose malfunctions by recognizing worn or damaged parts by measurement, strength of springs or dimension of parts. Experience using hand tools, a limited number of measuring instruments, and a variety of test equipment. Experience which demonstrated the ability to interpret and apply a variety of technical manuals and similar published materials.
This National Guard position is for a ARTILLERY REPAIRER, Position Description Number D1223000 and is part of the NJ CSMS 1, National Guard. The primary purpose of this position is to perform a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and inspections on mounted, towed, and motorized artillery and armored equipment.
